Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma
Doctor of Medicine, PediatricianDr. Arun Kumar Sharma is a Doctor of Medicine and a Consultant at Tribhuvan University, serving in the Department of Pediatrics at the Institute of Medicine. Actively engaged in clinical practice and collaborative research, his work focuses on vaccine research, pediatric respiratory medicine, general pediatrics, nutrition, and critical care. He is dedicated to advancing child health through both patient care and evidence-based research.
Dr. Arun Raj Kunwar
Child & Adolescent PsychiatristDr. Arun Kunwar is a pioneering figure in the field of Child & Adolescent (C&A) Psychiatry in Nepal, having established himself as the first C&A Psychiatrist in Nepal. He has made significant contributions to the development of C&A Psychiatry and is renowned for his role as the former President of the Psychiatrist's Association of Nepal (PAN). Additionally, Dr. Arun is recognized as the founding editor of the Journal of PAN. Currently, he serves as a Psychiatrist at Metro Kathmandu Hospital, where he continues to make strides in the field through research and social initiatives. Dr. Arun's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Adult & General Psychiatry, which he completed in 2003, and a Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, USA.
